In a horrific car crash in Georgia, a juvenile was ejected from a car following the head-on collision of two vehicles. The accident happened at Whitlock Avenue and Winn Street around 6 a.m. on Monday, December 12th, 2022.
Marietta Police Department officials reported that a Nissan Altima driven by a 24-year-old woman from Smyrna, Georgia collided with a Toyota Sienna driven by a 32-year-old woman carrying two juveniles in the vehicle on Whitlock.
Apparently, one juvenile remained inside the Sienna while the other was ejected. Both drivers were seriously injured because of the collision. The ejected juvenile’s age and condition have not been disclosed. Neither of the juveniles wore a seatbelt. Paramedics, fire crews, and other emergency responders were dispatched to aid the victims.
The police are unsure how the two cars hit each other, saying one or both left their lane for unknown reasons. The injured were taken to the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for treatment.
Further details of the collision have not been released, but an investigation is underway.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured victims, and we wish them a speedy and complete recovery.
