A deadly hit-and-run motorcycle crash in Georgia claimed the life of the rider, Franklin Coyne, 51.

The unfortunate motorcycle crash in Georgia was entirely preventable
The family of a deceased victim of a hit-and-run accident is always in a double whammy as they have to bear the grief of a lost loved one and wait for the police to complete their investigation and punish the accused. Additionally, they have to deal with financial pressures.
Georgia has one of the worst accident statistics in the country. There were more than 330,000 crashes in 2020. Among these, 1,588 were fatal accidents, killing 1,730 people.
It is possible to prevent these kinds of fatal accidents by taking a few simple safety measures.
- Overspeeding is riskier on a motorcycle than behind the wheel of a car
- Don’t let your phone distract you
- Keep a safe distance from trucks and large vehicles.
- Don’t overtake trucks hastily or you may come under their wheels
